METROPOLIS AT HOME

e-Meetings MetroGov3C - SERIES I - Metropolis Pos-Covid19

ZOOM Meetings Streaming via Youtube Live

Wherever we look, we only see calls for change. Whether in changing consumption patterns, the reorganization of cities and metropolis, how we move in everyday life or how we should enjoy free spaces. The reference to a social reconstruction is less often where the weaknesses they have made (and do) always make) of the most fragile among us the greatest victims of this and other "pandemics". But it is clear that this is also an inevitable topic in the broad discussion of "our common future" that is now starting.

Deep crises should not be wasted in what they can offer for a decontaminated fresh start of what disturbed us (often without realizing it), allowing us to put into practice ideas, dreams or theories, whether personal or those that only circulated in means Restricted and airtight. It is with enthusiasm that the MetroGov3C project aims to feed this current by bringing us the utopias, but also, unfortunately, the dystopies that are discussed today in cities and metropolis of the world, seen by those who feel them and live.

The "Metropolis at Home" will make us feel even more, citizens of the world. The MetroGov3C e-metropolis series - the post-Covid-19 (via Youtube) - placed the cities of São Paulo e Porto, New York and Istanbul and Barcelona and Lisbon in dialogue, where guests had the opportunity to share with us, as if a conversation around a table were, the changes that have taken place in their cities, how this emergency governance worked or what signs we can already detect what the metropolitan destination will be.
